Help individuals, organizations, and whole communities become the best they can be.
Anica is a collaborative change leader with expertise in higher education, community health, and nonprofit management. She offers individual and team coaching, consulting, and facilitation to a broad portfolio of partners in academic, nonprofit, public, and philanthropic sectors.
Enthusiastic about guiding teams to explore bold, forward-thinking approaches that push beyond their usual ways of working, Anica thrives in projects where clients seek fresh, creative strategies to navigate today’s rapid pace of change. Her strength lies in bridging ambitious ideas and tangible impact.
Anica has over two decades of experience in higher education, including many years working at the University of Michigan, with an emphasis on educational innovation and strategic initiatives. She led the operational launch of a 5-year $6 million collaboration across ten health science schools. She also taught university courses and helped develop a large-scale team decision-making course (for which she and her colleagues won the Provost’s Teaching Innovation Prize).
Anica embraces the Bridgeport philosophy of being a "proud generalist." With international health experience in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Ecuador; an early career as regional program director for a national nonprofit; and experience authoring successful grant proposals, funded up to $3 million by university, community, and federal funders, Anica’s robust experience has allowed her to hone her natural ability to identify connections and bring clarity to complex situations. She is a passionate learner who believes in building on the existing strengths of the people and organizations she serves.
